September 26th: Kathryn arrives in Brisbane

Sept 27th: Kathryn's Friends wedding in  Brisbane

Sept 28th or 29th: Shelley arrives in Brisbane

Sept 30th: Shelley and Kathryn look around Brisbane and visit friends

Oct 1st: Go to Gold Coast and ly on the beach like whales

Oct 2nd: Fly from Brisbane to Townsville. Go to Magnetic Island(tropical beach - friends fom Townsville can visit us)

Oct 3rd: Magnetic Island

Oct 4th: Magnetic Island

Oct 5th: Magnetic Island to Townsville

Oct 6th: Townsville to Atherton (rainforest, really beautiful)

Oct 7th: Atherton to Mission Beach (rainforest to beautiful beach)

Oct 8th: Mission Beach to Townsville, fly to Brisbane

Oct 9th: Brisbane

Oct 10th Brisbane

Oct 11th: Fly Brisbane to Home (New Zealand or China).

 

Approx cost:

In Brisbane we can stay with my friends, so no accommodation cost.

 

Magnetic Island: $100-00 Australian Dollars/night for 3 nights=$300-00       $150-00 each

Magnetic Island: 3 days transportation:                                                    $100-00 each

Townsville one night (Oct 5th)...can stay with friends

Atherton (1 night)..stay at backpackers...                                                   $30-00 each

Mission Beach (1 night)...stay at backpackers...                                         $30-00 each

Rental car for Oct 6th, Oct 7th, Oct 8th to Atherton  $300-000 total,            $150-00 each

Fuel for rental car:                                                                                   $100-00 each

Flights from Brisbane to Townsville to Brisbane:                                          $250-00 each

 

                                                                               Total = $810-00 Australian dollars

 

 

If we want a rental car in Brisbane  it will be about another $100-00/day incl fuel ($50-00 each per day).          

Need to also add in spending money etc.

 

If this is too much, we dont have to go to Townsville, but can stay in Brisbane and do things there. I am not worried too much about going to Townsville, but it would be nice. It is lovely and I have friends there.

我终于看完了这本<<莲花>>,作者细腻的手法,丰富而又华丽的词藻能顷刻间把我从喧嚣的城市拉到神秘的墨脱,每次我都想马上把这本书看完,但又舍不得看完,所以我断断续续用了三个星期的时间,以至于半夜醒来还在想着书里的内容,久久不能入睡!因此我更加感谢那位带我们去徒步的人,是他引导我有了如此的过程和经历!并且盼望着有那么一次机会让我徒步墨脱!我从小就梦想着流浪者的生活,周游世界是我的理想,无论生活富裕或贫穷,为了这个理想我坚定不移.
